The Duke City Gladiators are Community Champions when it comes to giving back to the Albuquerque metro area and the state of New Mexico. The team's work and commitment to the community has been recognized by the Indoor Football League. In 2021, the Gladiators were recognized with the Community Relations award by the league.
The team is honored to participate in numerous community events throughout the year. The team participate in suitcase drives for foster kids,

KOATs For Kids, holds free football camps for youth, work with local unions to help elderly and disabled, holds jacket, school supply and sock drives, participates in anti-bullying events, reads to school children donates items to schools and nonprofits, helps Native American communities with the Mind, Body and Spirit Program, helps veterans organizations, helps election workers on election day, along with assisting countless community events and organizations.
The organization also delivered food and drinks to first responders throughout the pandemic, also assisting with distribution of hand sanitizer and face masks to local businesses. Players and Coaches hosted a weekly "Recess with Gladiators" during the pandemic which was utilized by Albuquerque Public Schools for its physical educational program.
