Duke City Gladiators Return to the Rio Rancho Event Center for the 2024 Indoor Football Season
Albuquerque, NM – November 16, 2024 - The Duke City Gladiators, Albuquerque's beloved indoor football team, are ecstatic to announce their return to the prestigious Rio Rancho Event Center for the upcoming 2024 season. After a phenomenal season at this remarkable venue, the Gladiators are eager to make their home again and provide fans with an unparalleled indoor football experience.
The excitement is building as the Duke City Gladiators gear up for their first home game of the season, scheduled for March 23rd, 2024, at the Rio Rancho Event Center. This opening night will begin a thrilling season and celebrate Youth Sports Night. In a gesture of community support, all Rio Rancho Schools sports athletes will be granted free admission to the game, fostering a sense of camaraderie and sportsmanship among local youth.
Head Coach Fredrick Griggs, whose outstanding leadership and experience guided the team to success in the previous seasons, has been re-signed and eagerly anticipates the challenges and triumphs of the 2024 season. Coach Griggs said, "We are proud people in New Mexico, and I'm excited to get this season started. We will be an organization to be proud of." His commitment to excellence and passion for the game will inspire players and fans alike.
